The Canadian government has announced its support for 16 "ecoENERGY" projects in First Nations communities in British Columbia.
The Canadian government has announced its support for 16 “ecoENERGY” projects in First Nations communities in British Columbia.
The projects that will together receive a total of $1.2 million relate to a range of “green” projects in different communities. They include microhydro and run-of-river hydro projects, biomass energy, geothermal systems, a solar-propane hybrid installation, and a $100,000 feasibility study for a 900 kW hydro project in the Gabion watershed.
