A rechargeable, battery operated MAX Re-bar Tying System has been launched in Canada by Canadian Industrial Distributors. The RB650 uses 16 gauge wire to tie up to #10 x #8 rebars in approximately one second — five times faster than manual tying. The equipment weighs 7.7 lbs. and has a powerful twisting motor and regulates the wire usage to match the tie. Two smaller models weigh 4.6 lbs. and use four types of 21 gauge wire. www.cid.ca
