Ranked the 24th largest trade show in Canada last year, Construct Canada is being held November 28-30 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The exposition will have over 320 speakers and working sessions, including one on energy management sponsored and moderated by Canadian Consulting Engineer magazine.

Other seminars will examine trends in project design, project delivery and project management. There are sessions on construction law and developing your professional skills.

The second annual Urban Summit will be a high-powered two-day conference that will include many of Canada’s leading urbanists discussing the potential solutions to the pressures facing major Canadian cities, including transportation and infrastructure.

The event will also give consulting engineers opportunities to meet potential clients, including overseas clients. Organized by the Government of Canada, the International Business Centre at the show will facilitate matchmaking, networking and discussions between trade officers and foreign visitors from over 50 countries and Canadian architects, engineers, contractors and manufacturers.
