Ecosaire, a subsidiary of Dectron, makes the Precision Comfort Control (PCC) self-contained air conditioning units for commercial and institutional applications. They have free and dual cooling, and work with air, water, glycol-cooled or dedicated chilled water systems for heat rejection. They meet NC-30 or NC40 noise criteria. www.ecosaire.com
The Workhorse industrial/commercial series by Bessamaire combines direct-fired heaters with evaporative coolers in a single unit. Their patented FreshWater slinger wheel distributes atomized water across the entire air inlets to ensure efficient cooling. www.bessamaire.com

GE Water and Process Technologies has introduced the Advanced Cooling Solution as a comprehensive package. It uses environmentally sensitive treatment chemistry and wireless communications that automatically respond to variations in the water quality of recirculating systems. www.ge.com/water
Uponor recently introduced the Ecoflex Potable Plus, a flexible, pre-insulated pipe for buried or above ground potable water systems. The pipe has 1″ Aquapex tubing surrounded by PEX-foam insulation encased in an HDPE outer jacket. www.uponor.ca
