The Engineering and Information Technology Complex under construction at the University of Manitoba replaces some of the old engineering buildings, including the infamous "Room 229." The new complex is designed by GBR and Stantec (architects), Crosier Kilgour (structural), SMS (mechanical) and MCW/AGE (electrical), Cochrane (municipal), Keen (sustainability), and J.W. McEvoy (quantity surveyor).
