Ronald J. Wilson, P.Eng. has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Morrison Hershfield Group, Toronto. William D. Taylor, P.Eng. has been made the company President. The appointments are to support the company’s expansion in North America. Mr. Wilson has been with the company for 20 years, most recently as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Taylor joined the company in 1992 and was Vice-President of Transportation. Kevin R. Pask, P.Eng. was made Director of the Transportation Division in Toronto.

UMA Group has appointed Peter Timler, P.Eng. as Vice President of UMA Engineering to be based in Burnaby, B.C. and responsible for civil consulting in B.C. He will continue part-time as regional director for the Canadian Institute of Steel Construction. Peter Smith, P.Eng. has been appointed Vice President and General Manager of UMA’s Industrial Division across Canada. He is also based in Burnaby.

Gage-Babcock & Associates of Vancouver has a new President: Randall Kovacs, P.Eng. A graduate of the University of Waterloo in chemical engineering, Kovacs has made his career in fire-protection and life safety.

Ken H. Crowther, P.Eng. Is now President of Sproule Associates of Calgary, and its subsidiaries. Mr. Crowther succeeds J. Glenn Robinson, P.Eng. in the position.
