In order to pursue jointly our common interest in supporting Canada’s exporting engineering services firms, Export Development Canada (EDC) and ACEC have entered into a partnership agreement. This agreement will help promote and foster a long-term, collaborative relationship between ACEC and EDC, as well as facilitate access by ACEC members to EDC’s range of trade finance solutions.

These solutions include, among others, in-depth market knowledge and experience in the civil infrastructure, energy, environment, power, mining, and transportation fields; an extensive network of relationships with public and private financial institutions and foreign buyers across the globe; and, in-depth information on global economic conditions, industry sectors and countries.

By working more closely together, EDC and ACEC will be better positioned to identify and address trade finance issues faced by the industry on global markets.

EDC provides trade finance and risk management services to Canadian exporters and investors in up to 200 markets. Founded in 1944, EDC is a Crown corporation that operates as a commercial financial institution.
