The Beijing conference also included a series of very useful workshops on key current industry issues such as quality procurement, business integrity, the role of the consultant in design-build and risk management. In addition there were different opportunities for discussions with representatives of the World Bank and other international financing institutions on their respective procurement policies and practices.
