Green building organizations in North America, Australia and the U. K. have signed a memorandum of understanding agreeing to develop common measures for carbon dioxide emissions from buildings. The memorandum signed in March affects the LEED, BREEAM (U. K.) and Green Star (Australia) building rating systems.
