Snow and Ice Melt System Design Presentation

This seminar aims to provide a fundamental understanding of the design process and controls for snow and ice melting (SIM) systems. It is presented by Mihai Broscatean, B.Eng., a business development manager for REHAU Industries who has been active in the heating business since 1992.

Topics will include using ASHRAE guidelines to estimate SIM loads, determining SIM pipe sizing and spacing, calculating flow rates, determining head loss, selecting circulators, control strategies and  estimating annual operating costs.

The seminar begins at 7:30 pm sharp and is open to PEO and OECETT members. Networking is encouraged.
