Shift 2019: 11 Ideas on Infrastructure

In a free (but ticketed) event at the award-winning Toronto Central YMCA, designed by Diamond Schmitt Architects, members of the architecture profession—from emerging students to experienced practitioners—will show off their submissions to make communities better for all.

In a fast-paced micro-lecture format co-presented with the Toronto Society of Architects (TSA), the 11 teams who were project selections or honourable mentions of the OAA’s Shift 2019 Challenge will talk about their out-of-the-box ideas to a wide range of pressing infrastructure challenges.
