GeoNiagara 2021, which comprises the 74th Canadian Geotechnical Conference and the 14th Joint CGS/IAH-CNC Groundwater Conference, is hosted by the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), the Southern Ontario Section of the Canadian Geotechnical Society (CGS-SOS) and the Canadian National Chapter of the International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH-CNC). The theme for this year is ‘Creating a Sustainable and Smart Future.’

While planned as an in-person event with technical and plenary sessions in geotechnical and hydrogeological fields, keynote speakers, short courses, technical tours and social events, this hybrid conference will also have virtual components available for delegates who are unable to travel to Niagara Falls, Ont.
