Conversations around BIM often focus on the technical issues of its deployment, which hinders BIM’s adoption in the Canadian market. Even though an ever increasing number of companies across Canada are embracing BIM and are putting it to use in a wide variety of ways, BIM is still seen as a marginal innovation. How do we move the conversation forward? More importantly, how do we provide a compelling case to fully integrate BIM into our day-to-day practice? The answer lies in how we frame and position BIM. This session will attempt to cast BIM in a different light: focusing on its playful and fun aspects, featuring the positive impact it has on the working atmosphere.
