The BCxA’s 2 Day Existing Building Commissioning (EBCx) course program focuses on the What, Why and How to of EBCx. Commissioning of existing buildings (sometimes referred to as Retro-Commissioning or RCx) is an effective way to gain optimal performance of the buildings systems, and improve occupant comfort. In today’s economy and culture, more and more owners are looking for ways to decrease utility and maintenance costs. Instructors will guide attendees through the each phase of the existing building commissioning process, based on BCxA Best Practices and other industry resources. You will receive a workbook that includes a glossary of terms, BCxA Existing Building Commissioning Best Practices, and templates for use in the field.
