Saskatchewan will be adopting the National Energy Code for Buildings (NECB). Effective January 1, 2019 the requirements of NECB will be enforced province wide.

To help code users understand the code provisions, the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies (Saskatchewan), in collaboration with the National Research Council of Canada (NRC), is offering a presentation on the National Energy Code for Buildings (NECB).

The presentations are designed to help code users familiarize themselves with code features and technical updates. The topics include the following:

Part 3 – Building Envelope
Part 4 – Lighting
Part 5 – HVAC
Part 6 – Service Water Heating
Part 7 – Electrical
Part 8 – Performance Path
NECB – Overview of recent changes
