Holcim Awards – $2 million in prizes

The third international Holcim Awards competition is inviting entries.
The competition has a total of US $2 million in prize money and is open to projects that are in an advanced stage of design, but that have not started construction or commercial production before July 1, 2010.
The main category is intended for architects, planners, engineers, project owners, builders and construction firms.
The deadline is March 23, 2011.
The awards are supported by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which hosts the jury. The jury this year includes Ray Cole of the University of British Columbia, and Mark West from the University of Manitoba.
