Trow Global, a firm of engineers and consultants based in Brampton, Ontario, has merged with Richardson Foster Ltd., a civil engineering consulting firm with headquarters in Barrie. The company Richardson Foster is the result of a 2004 amalgamation between Richardson Engineering (founded in 1999) and J. Foster Engineering (founded in 1994). The company specializes in land development, municipal infrastructure and water resources and has 34 employees in offices in Barrie, Bracebridge and Hamilton, Ontario. Vlad Stritesky, president of Trow, and Bryan Richardson, president of Richardson Foster, made the announcement.
A few days before the above announcement, Stritesky announced another Trow corporate merger — with Smylie & Crow Associates. Smylie & Crow is a mechanical and electrical engineering firm based in London, Ontario. The company was incorporated in 1962. Miles Buckrell is president of Smylie & Crow.
Both acquired firms will continue to operate under their current names as wholly owned divisions of Trow Global.
Trow Global now has approximately 2,000 employees in offices across Canada, the U.S. and internationally.
