SNC-Lavalin buys Quformat Ltd.

SNC-Lavalin’s Qualitas Division has acquired Quéformat Ltd., a 35-year old firm based in Longueuil, Quebec. The acquired firm has 115 employees and specializes in materials engineering, geotechnology and environmental sciences. It also focuses on roofs and waterproofing.

Quéformat president Michel Dussault, said: “We are very proud to be joining one of the world’s largest engineering and construction firms, and to be contributing our specific expertise and technologies to Qualitas, whom we consider to be the leader in our business sector in Quebec.”

SNC-Lavalin’s Qualitas Division now has 800 employees.
