The province of Manitoba is investing a record $310 million in school construction over the next four years.
The province of Manitoba is investing a record $310 million in school construction over the next four years.
In a March 31 announcement, the province said it would fund over 400 revitalization projects, including new middle schools in La Broquerie, Steinbach and Winkler, and new high schools in the latter two communities.
The province says there will be $12 million for new roofing projects at 53 schools, $13 million for structural renewal at nine schools, $13 million to replace HVAC systems in 29 schools, and $3 million to make 15 more schools accessible to children with disabilities.
