Quebec mechanical engineers had a major achievement at the HVAC-industry’s annual main event. They won two out of three Technology Awards given at the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers Winter Meeting held January 21-25 in Chicago.
Laurier Nichols, ing. of Dessau Soprin in Longueil, Quebec won an ASHRAE Technology Award for the Ecole du Tournant project in Saint-Constant, Quebec. The project was in the alternative and renewable energy category.
Martin Roy, president of Martin Roy and Associates of Deux-Montagnes, Quebec, also won a Technology Award for the TOHU Capiteau des Arts in Montreal in the public assembly category.
ASHRAE is an international organization of 55,000 people based in the U.S.
