Rejean Chartrand, P.Eng. has joined Morrison Hershfield of Toronto as a senior advisor on its team of P3 experts. Prior to joining the firm, Chartrand held senior positions with the City of Ottawa.
Ian McCormack of Wardrop Engineering, and general manager of its Thunder Bay operations, has been appointed to the Ontario Chamber of Commerce board.
M. Paul Lafleur, ing., president of BPR, has received the “Mdaille gloire de l’Escolle,” the highest distinction from Laval University. He received the award for his services to society during the course of his career.
William Borland, vice president of Canadian federal programs at AMEC Earth and Environmental has been appointed to the National Round Table on the Environment and the Economy (NRTEE). He is also on Premier’s Round Table on the environment and the Economy in New Brunswick and chair of the board of directors of the Canadian Water Network.
Darryl F. Boyce, P.Eng., assistant vice president of facility management and planning at Carleton University in Ottawa was given an Exceptional Service Award by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) at its annual meeting in June.
