The National Research Council of Canada’s Institute for Research in Construction is looking for experts to give feedback on its new InfraGuide Best Practice Reports.
The InfraGuide reports are intended to help municipalities maintain their water supply, storm and waste water systems, solid waste disposal, and roads and transit systems.
The Institute is seeking comments on their scope, supporting documentation or possible duplication. They’re also looking for experts for peer review and future working group members.
The topics decided for the next series of reports are on
Decision Making and Investment Planning – Priority Setting and Funding Allocation
Potable Water – Leak Detection in Linear Systems
Storm and Wastewater – Implementing New Technologies for Sewer Rehabilitation and Replacement
Municipal Roads and Sidewalks – Utility Cuts Management and Restoration and Pothole Repair
Environmental Protocols – Contaminated Sites in Utility Corridors
