
New health and safety centre is resource for employers

The Centre for Health and Safety Innovation is to open its doors officially on September 20.
The Centre for Health and Safety Innovation is to open its doors officially on September 20.
Located in Mississauga, Ontario, the centre is intended to be a resource for workplace safety education and training. It will act as a key resource for employers and employees and provides meeting rooms, technical equipment and support staff.
Its founding partners are the Electrical & Utilities Safety Association, the Industrial Accident Prevention Association, the Ontario Service Safety Alliance and the Transportation Health and Safety Association of Ontario.
The facility will also be collaborating with other safety organizations, including the Construction Safety Association of Ontario, the Municipal Health and Safety Association and the Mines and Aggregates Safety and Health Association.
