The Canadian Commission on Building and Fire Codes has launched its annual public review of proposed changes to the building codes.
The fall 2008 public review will include the majority of changes proposed for the 2010 editions.
The National Building, Fire and Plumbing Codes of Canada are model codes, which then are adopted by several of the different provincial governments in Canada.
The public review will run from September 29 to November 28, via the National Codes Web site www.nationalcodes.ca.
