Ingenium Group is the new “master brand name” for Giffels and NORR, two consulting engineering companies in Toronto. The companies were independent until the late 1990s, when NORR Architects and Engineers became a subsidiary of Giffels but continued to operate under its own name.

As Ingenium Group, the capabilities of Giffels and NORR subsidiaries are combined to offer an integrated team of architects, engineers and builders.

Current assignments include projects for Air Canada and the GTAA at Pearson International Airport, the Collins Bay Penitentiary in Kingston, a new manufacturing facility for Honda in Alabama, the recently completed Ford Motor Company of Canada headquarters in Oakville, project management services for the Front Street Extension in Toronto and a new distribution centre for Eagle Global Logistics in Mississauga.

Giffels, an employee-owned company, was named one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies for the second year in a row in 2002. Its clients include Bombardier, Ford, Toyota, General Motors, DaimlerChrysler, RCMP, Boeing, Honda, UPS, Government of Ontario, Government of Canada, United Arab Emirates, Cadillac Fairview Corporation, Siemens, Sears, LCBO, Stanley Tools, Molson, Diageo, TTC and GO Transit.
