Genivar buys two companies

GENIVAR Income Fund of Montreal has just acquired two small consulting engineering fims in Quebec and one in Ontario.

 In Quebec, Genivar acquired Envirotel 3000 , a company based in Sherbrooke that specializes in environmental services such as wildlife and plant habitats.

Genivar also bought WSA Trenchless Consultants of Montreal, a company which operates in several Canadian provinces specializing in installing, testing and replacing water and wastewater systems using trenchless technologies. WSA was founded in 1997 and Envirotel was founded in 1989. Together the acquired companies have a total of 15 employees.

In Ontario, Genivar acquired ENTRA Consultants, a transportation planning firm with approximately 20 employees that is based in Toronto. The company was founded in 1990.

Genivar now has more than 3,500 staff dispersed in 80 offices in Canada and internationally.
