Feed the hungry

The annual CANstruction benefit for the Daily Bread Food Bank is being held on December 7, in the link between the Design Exchange and the Toronto Bank Tower lobby. Engineers and architects compete to construct edifices with tins of food that are later donated to the charity.
At least one member of ech team must belong to the Society of Design Administration, Consulting Engineers of Ontario, or the Ontario Association of Architects.
Last year the event provided 12,1000 kg. of food. The winner was a sandcastle titled “Hunger isn’t child’s play,” by A.J. Diamond, Donald Schmitt & Co.
