The Association of Consulting Engineers of Quebec (AICQ) announced the winners of its annual awards on March 23. The celebration was held at the Montreal Science Centre with 380 people in attendance.<br>
From 33 entered projects, 10 award winners were chosen for a “Leonard” award. They were:<br>
SNC-Lavalin/CIMA+ for the expansion to the Montreal-Trudeau international airport, phase 1 et 2 (buildings, structures);<br>
Bouthillette Parizeau/Pageau Morel for the Lassonde Pavillion at l’Ecole Polytechnique (buildings, mechanical-electrical);<br>
Dessau-Soprin for the Toulnustouc hydroelectric station (energy);<br>
Golder Associates for the Rehabilitation of the historical Nitchequon meteorological station (environment);<br>
SNC-Lavalin/Hatch for the Aluminerie Alouette, phase 2 (project and construction management);<br>
Hatch for the UGS Project, expansion to 325 ktpa (industry);<br>
Bouthillette Parizeau for the Ventilation systems in the Louis-Hippolyte-Lafontaine Tunnel (transportation);<br>
CIMA+ for the Ile Ste-Helene Aquatic Complex (urban infrastructure);<br>
AXOR for the Gabal El Asfar, Phase 2 water treatment plant;<br>
Roche for a Dynamic and Information Intelligence Transport System (telecommunications and new technologies).<br>
