Canadian Society for Civil Engineering has new executive director

The Canadian Society for Civil Engineering based in Ottawa has appointed Peter G. Casquinha as its new executive director, effective December 12.
Casquinha has previously served as senior deputy director of the Institute of Canadian Bankers and was vice president of marketing and development for the Scarbini Media Group in Montreal. He has a B.Sc. from McGill University and an MBA from IMD in Switzerland, and is fluent in four languages.
Casquinha takes over from Michel Langelier, who left to pursue his career in sports management.
