At the 2007 Kenneth R. Wilson Canadian Business Press Awards, Canadian Consulting Engineer won a Gold award for the article entitled “The Engineering of Golf Courses.”
Written by editor Bronwen Parsons, the article appeared in the June-July 2006 issue of the magazine. It won in the Resource & Infrastructure editorial writing category.
Another article, “Green Building Check-Ups” which appeared in the December 2006 issue by Bronwen Parsons, won a citation in the same category.
More than 700 entries were submitted to the 53-year-old competition honouring excellence in business and specialty publishing. The awards were announced and celebrated on June 4 in Toronto, organized by the Canadian Business Press.
