Police in the small town of Perth, Ontario were looking for thieves who stole two solar panels from a bridge construction site. The panels were valued at over $1,000.
Solar panels are being used increasingly for illuminating signs to divert traffic or by farmers for electrifying fences. The local police said that because they are usually in open areas, the panels become an easy target for thieves.
