The Ontario Sustainable Energy Association is looking for venues to be part of their Green Energy Doors Open event being held on Saturday, October 4.

The province-wide event showcases sustainable energy projects. Last year it featured 66 sites in 44 communities.

They are looking for:

• plants people could tour

• buildings with green energy features

• energy co-op project sites

• independently constructed green homes (net-zero, passive, LEED certified)

• companies with energy-conscious facilities.

Green Energy Doors Open 2014’s goal is “to raise awareness, understanding and support for sustainable energy by providing people with the opportunity to visit, see, touch and talk about the projects in their backyards.”

Consulting engineers who have any projects or sites they would like to nominate for event sites should e-mail Alon Rodovinsky, alon@ontario-sea.org, www.ontario-sea.org
