The agreement is a full and final settlement of all the disputes in the P3 agreement between McGill Healthcare Infrastructure Group and McGill University Health Centre.

SNC-Lavalin has announced that it has signed an out of court agreement with the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) following a mediation process.

In April 2016, McGill Healthcare Infrastructure Group (MHIG), a partnership composed of SNC-Lavalin and Innisfree (the largest infrastructure investment group in the UK) filed a lawsuit of $330 million against MUHC and the Government of Quebec claiming compensation for additional costs incurred during the design and construction of the MUHC hospital centre’s Glen site among other issues.

The agreement announced January 8, 2018, whose details have been kept confidential, is a full and final settlement of all the disputes contemplated by the agreement.

MHIG is responsible for managing the hospital centre’s assets and ensuring its upkeep until September 30, 2044.
