Rebranding and Reorganization of Pretium Engineering

Pretium Anderson and Pretium GRG, Ontario-based building science engineering firms, have completed a merger they started last year, consolidating their operations into Pretium Engineering Inc.

The firms are rebranding as “Pretium”, and introducing a new company logo.

“I am very pleased with the launch of our new brand. I believe it represents a new chapter in the evolution and growth of Pretium,” said Murray Gamble, Chairman of the Board of Pretium, in a company release.

The Board of Directors of Pretium has named Gerald R. Genge, former president of Pretium GRG, as president, John Pogacar, former president of Pretium Anderson, as past president, Larry McCuaig as vice president of engineering, Suzanne Santyr as vice president of operations, and Dave Moore as vice president of client service & business development.

These are term appointments. Pretium believes that rotating leadership appointments reinvigorates management and creates leadership opportunities for its best and future employees.

With offices throughout Ontario, in Breslau (Waterloo), Burlington, Newmarket, Ottawa and Toronto, and a staff of over 60 building engineers and technologists, Pretium is one of the largest firms in Ontario focussing solely on building engineering.

Pretium is a member of the C3 Group of companies, a multi-discipline engineering/contracting organization specializing in building science, restoration, industrial maintenance, foundation systems, environmental technologies, and advanced materials.

The C3 Group was established in 1973. Pretium Anderson was formed in 2010 with the amalgamation of Pretium Engineering Limited (2004) and Anderson Building Science Inc. (1996). In 2017 the team expanded through a strategic partnership with Pretium-GRG (formerly GRG Building Consultants Inc.) and Arbitech Inc. Arbitech provides arbitration, mediation, litigation support, and expert testimony and reports on claims across Canada.
