PCL Constructors Canada Inc. (Toronto) has announced the appointment of Terry Olynyk to the position of director, business development, in Toronto.

Olynyk has more than 25 years of construction experience. He joined PCL in 1998 and has served in various positions ranging from district building systems manager to Integrated Business Unit (IBU) manager to senior construction manager.

Under his leadership, the district launched the Renewable Energy IBU in 2011, which quickly propelled PCL into Ontario’s Renewable Energy market, generating over $700 million in new work.

Most recently, he has led PCL Agile (modular building solutions), which is experiencing strong growth and has strategically positioned PCL to leverage this nontraditional business unit for success, something he will continue to support in his new role.
