Montreal-based Pageau Morel has announced the launch of its new Creative Solutions team, joining the firm’s list of existing specialized teams formed including: Healthcare; Science; Industry; Offices; Public Buildings; Econergy; and Data Centres.
The first two members of the new Creative Solutions arm are Roland Charneux and Jacques Lagacé, both recognized engineers who have directly influenced the consulting engineering industry in Canada in the fields of energy efficiency and sustainable development.
This duo will serve as mentors, references, and advisors while supporting the technical development of the firm’s staff to strengthen the quality assurance of its projects and to promote leading-edge design.
Charneux, a senior engineer with 43 years of experience at Pageau Morel, has worked in consulting engineering his entire career. A graduate of Polytechnique Montréal in 1976, he has won 25 awards, including OIQ’s 2018 Grand Prix d’excellence and nine ASHRAE Technology Awards (international).
A senior engineer with 31 years of experience,Lagacé has also worked in consulting engineering since graduating from Polytechnique Montréal in 1987. He was one of the first LEED Accredited Professionals in Québec and is a founding member of the Quebec chapter of the Canadian Green Building Council (CaGBC).
