New compliance officer at SNC-Lavalin

SNC-Lavalin has appointed a new Chief Compliance Officer effective March 1. Andreas Pohlmann was at Siemens AG and oversaw the creation of its award-winning corporate governance system, which the company has called its “highest priority.” Pohlmann has law degrees from the University of Frankfurt and the University of Tuebingen in Germany.

 In announcing Mr. Pohlmann’s appointment, SNC-Lavalin said the company’s “commitment to ethical behaviour and the highest standards in governance, compliance and accountability continues to be steadfast, and the hiring of Mr. Pohlmann is one more step towards this goal.”
