MTE Consultants acquires surveying firm, Holstead & Redmond

MTE Consultants, an employee-owned consulting engineering firm in Southwestern Ontario with locations in Burlington, Kitchener, London and Stratford, has acquired Holstead and Redmond, a London, Ont.-based company that has been providing land and legal surveying services since 1952.

MTE, founded in 1985, has grown to over 250 employees and provides services in the fields of civil and structural engineering, building and environmental science, and land surveying.

MTE now has 30 staff in London since opening an office there last year.

“Our strong growth in the London market can be attributed to our people, both new and relocated staff, who have connections within the community and relationships with clients and business partners that are based on trust and quality service,” said MTE president Ted Rowe. “Moreover, London’s flourishing economy has also helped accelerate our growth in this region.”
