Lorna Tardif leading HKA’s Canadian operations

Tardif, a member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec, has more than 35 years of experience in claims consultancy, dispute resolution and project advisory services in the construction industry.

HKA, consulting, a privately-owned provider of consulting and advisory services for the construction, manufacturing, process and technology industries with offices in 21 countries, has appointed Lorna Cuthbertson Tardif as partner to head up its Canadian operations.

Tardif has more than 35 years of experience in claims consultancy, dispute resolution and project advisory services in the construction industry.

She founded and managed TMA Construction Consultants, an independent advisory firm that provided construction claims and project management services to Canadian and international clients for more than 25 years. After TMA was acquired by Deloitte in 2013, Tardif served as a partner, providing advisory and independent expert services on large, complex and high-risk projects.

“The Canadian market is a key growth area for HKA,” said Frank J. Giunta, Partner, Americas.  “Lorna brings vast experience in construction consulting and has an impressive track record of success in Canada.”

Tardif holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours) from McGill University and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario. She is a Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec, the Institute of Mediation and Arbitration, and the Institute of Corporate Directors.
