CIVIL, the magazine of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE/SCGC), is inviting Canadian companies and engineers to submit case studies of infrastructure projects for possible publication.

CIVIL, the magazine of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE/SCGC), is inviting Canadian companies and engineers to submit case studies of infrastructure projects for possible publication.

The case studies are for consideration for a new section of CIVIL magazine that will showcase the excellent work done by Canadian civil and structural engineers.

Projects will be selected for publication based on various criteria, including their sustainability qualities.

Possible project types include transportation (transit, bridges, etc.) water-wastewater infrastructure (plants, transmission, etc.), power generation structures, industrial plants, etc.. The project can be either in Canada or international and should have been completed in the last two years.

The project should be noteworthy for some reason.

For example, it might be a significant project due to its:

• landmark status

• geographical location

• social or economic significance

• uses technical innovation

• involves extraordinary project or programmatic challenges.

To be considered, send in an article of approximately 800-900 words, plus 3 or 4 high-resolution images – by April 27.
