Ice brings down communications tower

A communications tower in northern Labrador collapsed in the first week of January, leaving the people without internet and long-distance phone service.

The tower, which is located near Rigolet along the northeast coast, was reportedly coated with about 30 tonnes of ice when it collapsed.
