IBI Group revenues increase 6%

IBI Group of Toronto announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2015 on August 14. Revenue for the three months ended June 30, 2015 was $80.9 million, an increase of 6.2% compared to $76.2 million in the same quarter in 2014. Adjusted EBITDA was $10.1 million (or 12.5% of revenue) for three months ended June 30, 2015 compared to $8.6 million (11.3% of revenue) in the same period last year.

Net Income for the three months ended June 30, 2015 was $1.6 million compared to $0.9 million in the same quarter in 2014.  “We are pleased with our continued efforts to strengthen our balance sheet and we continue to see growth in committed work, particularly in Canada,” said CEO Scott Stewart. … Customers have continued to seek out IBI as their designer of choice, resulting in a backlog which has grown to 11 months.”

The multi-disciplinary architecture, planning, engineering and technology company is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. It has around 2,300 employees in offices across North America and in Europe, the Middle East, the Caribbean, Mexico and India.
