David Harvey, P.Eng. of Associated Engineering was presented with the R.A. McLachlan Memorial Award at the Victoria Conference Centre in British Columbia in October. The award is the highest honour for professional engineering made by the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (APEGBC).  

Harvey is a senior bridge specialist with Associated Engineering in Burnaby. He has helped designed numerous bridges and is said to have revolutionized the design and construction of B.C. forestry bridges. He has also devoted many volunteer hours to APEGBC and the Institution of Structural Engineers.
