David Bulger joins Stantec in the Atlantic Region

David Bulger joins Stantec’s Atlantic office.

Structural engineering specialist David Bulger has joined Stantec as sector leader for the Atlantic Canada buildings group.

Bulger has more than 25 years of experience in consulting engineering and engineering projects, including design, departmental management, project management, and business development. His previous positions include manager, structural engineering with SNC-Lavalin, where he managed a group of structural engineers and was a contributor to winning and managing projects, and also oversaw design. He has also served as senior structural engineer with BMR Structural Engineering.

His recent projects of note include lead structural engineer on the new Halifax Central Library; the DND Hangar Development Program in Trenton Ontario; the School of Sustainable Design Engineering Building, and the UPEI Campus.

Bulger joins Stantec’s leadership group in Atlantic Canada, working from the Dartmouth, Nova Scotia office, where he will focus on business development and growth, and contributing to the structural engineering group.

 Bulger is a Dartmouth resident, a graduate of the University of New Brunswick and a Graduate Member with the Institute of Structural Engineers. He is a registered engineer in Nova Scotia and Ontario, with previous registrations in British Columbia, Alberta, and New Brunswick.
