Consultants shortlisted for large Ontario government projects

On May 6, Infrastructure Ontario and Halton Healthcare Services announced the three shortlisted teams to design, build, finance and maintain a replacement Oakville Hospital. Some consulting firms and architects are part of the consortia. Plenary Health includes Smith & Andersen and Halsall Associates. Community Health Consortium includes Kasian Architecture, MAAP, MMM Group and Black & McDonald. Hospital Infrastructure Partners includes Parkin Architects/Adamson Associates Architects.
A few days later, on May 11, Infrastructure Ontario and the Attorney General invited three short-listed teams to submit proposes for a new consolidated courthouse in Belleville, Ontario. The new Quinte Consolidated Courthouse will be at Coleman and Bridge Streets and will serve the County of Hastings. The consortia are submitting proposals to design, build, finance and maintain the facility. Shortlisted are: Balfour Beatty Capital-Canada, which includes Carruthers & Wallace/Trow, Kasian Architecture, MCW Consultants and Mulvey & Banani; Brookfield Partnerships Quinte, which includes Halsall Associates, Hidi Rae Consulting Engineers, The Mitchell Partnership and WZMH Architects; Carillion Courthouse Solutions includes HOK Architects and MMM Group.
