Dean Shiskowski, P.Eng. has been appointed Practice Leader, Wastewater Management for the Associated Engineering group. He is also the company’s Process Wastewater Discipline Group Chair and participates in the company’s research at universities in Canada and the United States.

Bert Munro, P.Eng. of Associated Engineering was awarded the George Warren Fullerton Award by the American Water Works Association last year. Munro is the president and general manager of Associated Engineering’s Saskatchewan operations.

Carl M. Glos, P.Eng., one of the founding principals of Glos Associates of Windsor, Ontario, died on December 9, 2009. He was 78.  Mr. Glos received his Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from McGill University in 1956 and later became involved in several large construction projects, including the Sir Adam Beck Power Station No.2, the St. Lawrence Seaway, the redevelopment of the St. John’s, Newfoundland harbour, and the Welland Canal. In 2007 he was honoured by the Windsor Essex County Engineering Society as Essex County Engineer of the Year.
