Teng & Associates have joined the Trow Global Group of Brampton, Ontario. Teng has 500 employees and has its headquarters in Chicago. It provides architecture and engineering for major infrastructure projects. The acquisition brings the U.S. staff of Trow Global to 900.
GENIVAR of Montreal has acquired Pryde Schropp McComb, an Ontario-based firm specializing in engineering, project management, planning and software for the aviation industry. It has 40 employees based in Ontario and Alberta, and provides services to airports across Canada and internationally..
Morrison Hershfield opened an office in Winnipeg last month. The office will initially provide services in the transportation sector. The company has also just acquired Structural Design Inc. a 10-person firm of St. John’s, Newfoundland. Morrison Hershfield says it has a vision to expand its services geographically.
SNC-Lavalin Group of Montreal has acquired 10% of the issued and outstanding shares of Valener, an offshoot of Gaz Metro Limited Partnerships.
Ingenium Group of Toronto has acquired the Archial Group of companies, an international architecture firm with 300 employees in the U.K.
