Enermodal Engineering has opened its fifth Canadian location with an office in Winnipeg. The Kitchener, Ontario-based company is already working on two projects in Winnipeg: the Museum of Human Rights and the redevelopment of the Assiniboine Park Zoo.
AECOM has acquired Davis Langdon, a large cost and project management consulting firm of 2,800 employees that operates in Australia, New Zealand, Europe, the Middle and the U.S. An Asian counterpart, Davis Langdon & Seah, remains independent but will continue collaborating with the AECOM-acquired firm.
GENIVAR has entered into new syndicated credit facilities with a number of banks, expanding the limit to its revolving credit facility from $80 million at the end of the second quarter to $225 million. It has also extended the maturity date to 2013. GENIVAR, which has its head office in Montreal, says it intends to use the new funds for future acquisitions, working capital and general corporate purposes.
