Buckland & Taylor has appointed John Brestin as Vice President and Major Projects Director. He was previously president and project director at HNTB in Kansas City. Steve Hunt, President of Buckland & Taylor, which is based in Vancouver, says: “John will be an invaluable asset to Buckland & Taylor” said. “He brings a wealth of experience and a unique engineering understanding of the U.S. market that will be essential for our continued success.”

Pageau Morel has launched a sleek new website. The consulting engineering firm, which began in 1956, specializes in mechanical and electrical design, energy efficiency and “ecodesign” of buildings. The company has 185 staff in three offices, in Montreal, Laval and Gatineau.
