Changes within Associated Engineering’s technical leadership team

Alan Emery and Chris Skowronski take on new roles following retirement of John Fussell and Herb Kuehne.

Associated Engineering has announced that two of its long-serving technical leaders, John Fussell, senior vice president, transportation, and Herb Kuehne, senior vice president, civil infrastructure, have retired from full-time service after many decades with the company.

Both Fussell and Kuehne will continue to provide advice to clients and staff on a part-time or as-needed basis.

In their place, Kerry Rudd, president & CEO of Associated has announced that Alan Emery has taken on the role of senior vice president, transportation, while Chris Skowronski will take on the role of senior vice president, infrastructure.

Emery is a senior transportation engineer with more than 35 years of experience across Canada and in the UK. He specializes in the design of highways, roadways, and pathways, and brings experience in alternate delivery.

A senior civil engineer, Skowronski has 29 years of experience in municipal infrastructure and land development, specializing in pipeline design, including infrastructure renewal and trenchless technologies.

In their new roles, Emery and Skowronski will provide business development and technical guidance to Associated’s staff, and technical support to clients across Canada.
